Vintage Style Plugin Pendant Light Hack

Lighting is very important in living spaces or rooms- It largely affects the mood of a room. It is the basic element to consider when designing a space. Clever placement of pendant lights, flush mounts, and scones makes all the difference in a tight setting. Most of the accent lights require altering existing wiring inside your walls and ceilings which is not an option for someone living in rented places or someone who doesn’t want to spend that extra dollar overhead.
If your are looking to add some lighting, while bringing accent to your room, this tutorial will give you a budget friendly DIY vintage style pendant light hack.
All you need is these four items below

You can find theWooden Rack Hanger for 5 dollars in Ikea. Click here to buy.
For the Glass Shade you can buy it in Westelm.
The light bulb, you can get it in any store. The one I used is from Homedepot.
The plugin rope cord you can buy it from amazon. I spray painted the black part with gold to make it look even. Click here to buy.
Place the hanger on a smooth even surface and fit it with a screw. I used 3/4 inch screw on a dry wall. Place the hanger right above the electric socket, so that the rope wire doesn’t dangle unevenly. Now, plugin the rope wire, bring it up and wrap it around the hanger till the desired height of your light. Now, fix in your globe and then the light bulb.
